Add page numbers to a PDF for free
Number the pages of reports, theses, contracts or scanned documents in seconds. Pick one of six positions, a format such as "Page 3 of 12", the starting number, font size and margin. You can skip the cover page so numbering begins on the second page. The PDF is edited locally with pdf-lib and never uploaded.
Will it change my document's layout?
No — the numbers are drawn on top of each existing page in the margin area. Text, images, links and form fields are preserved. If your pages have content right at the edge, increase the margin.
